Washing all bed linens in hot soapy water and washing any
clothes that may have come in contact with the bed or floor area
also with hot soapy water.
Houses with heavy infestations need to be treated with
long-lasting residual insecticide. One treatment is normally
sufficient to eliminate bedbugs but, if an infestation persists,
re-treatments should be carried out at intervals of not less
than two weeks.
Check for holes (screws holes etc..) around the beds and spray
insecticide. Bedding used for infants should not be treated with
residual insecticide, but with a short-lasting insecticide such
as may be found in most aerosol spray cans. Call the pest
professional if bedbugs still infesting. |
